The Sea Horse tragedy occurred in 1816. The bi-centenary commemoration took place in Tramore Co. Waterford in 2016 when the 363 victims of the Sea Horse were remembered. We are very grateful to all who supported and for Nationwide for recording the events of July 2016. For more information of Sea Horse tragedy and the Cairn which was placed on Tramore Promenade in their memory, see www.yourstoryandmore.ie
